The Man Formerly Known as Prince Andrew

Like the Prince of Denmark, the Duke of York, or now simply Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has proven to be a tragic figure though not in the same way as the noble tragedy of Hamlet. AMW deserves every bit of the scrutiny he has encountered as he ticks every box deserving such a fall from grace.

This is British Royalty closest to the top we will ever see whose actions have thrown him back amongst us commoners. The later Queen’s favourite, Randy Andy, Prince Andrew, once second in line to the throne until 1982 and the birth of his nephew, William has been stripped of everything related to his noble birth and at 65 will be a nobody. The world as he knew it is no more and he is even going to be homeless. So it seems.

And all for good reason.

I will not repeat his sordid past and subsequent denials, his hiding behind his titles and his belief in being untouchable. The fact remains that he is suspected of having sex with underaged girls and the Palace’s actions seem to confirm his guilt. For years he has tried to run from the stench of Epstein and Maxwell but seems to have forgotten that in this digital world where everyone can now know everyone else’s business, he was unable to hide. By every interview, lie and lack of remorse, AMW made everything even worse and all whilst still having the airs of royalty whiffing about him.

Pompous Git.

And we hope that this is a warning to all men in power that they can no longer rely on positions of power and their wealth to avoid scrutiny and hopefully receive the same punishment as all us mere mortals.

I think I can now smell fear in high places.

Good.
